Crop Circle Webinar Series Starting January 19th

Suzanne Taylor, who you may remember as the event organizer for TEDxWestHollywood who had her program taken down by TED during the controversy last year (and invited me to speak) is publicizing the following webinar series which begins on January 19th.  I am very happy to help.

After holiday bustle followed by a week of being at low mast from the stuffed-up ailment du jour, I’m late singing the praises of a webinar series. It’s hosted by my great ally, Gary Bobroff, who was a guest on a webinar series I hosted about crop circles and did a TEDx talk for me. Beyond all the objective information about the phenomenon, Gary takes us into how the circles relate to our world with perspectives that go deep into meaning about who we are and what we are doing here. (He’s just written a very good essay: Crop Circles 2014: A Cure For What Ails Us.)  His unique take, which will be published in a book this year, will bring you more than you ever anticipated about what still is a great mystery of our time. (If you haven’t seen my movie, What On Earth? Inside the Crop Circle Mystery, which hopefully will convince you of that, check it out.) This is a thinking person’s series, and since this mailing list is replete with wise souls I hope you will have a look. I am the first guest on Sunday, January 19.

Here’s what’s been written up:

This is an invitation to an interactive journey into the greatest living mystery of our time! This six-part live video symposium features visionary thinkers Andrew Harvey, Andy Thomas, Suzanne Taylor, Jazz Rasool, Art of Sacred Geometry & Nina Elshof, and runs consecutive Sundays beginning January 19th.

This will be an in-depth, highly visual consideration of this mysterious phenomenon within the context of modern psychological reality. Living at the time of the death of one worldview and the birth of another, our culture suffers from an over-masculine inflation that has us alienated from one another and from nature. Yet today we are confronted with crises that call us to more participation with the world and with each other. Crop circles, formed in living grain, exemplify the archetypal feminine nature of this moment’s change: a calling toward conscious, felt engagement with a dynamic, living, mysterious world.

Each participant gets a virtual seat for the live show with which they can interact, as well as unlimited access to recordings. Individual sessions are $20 or purchase the whole course for $97.

(A volunteer promoter program is available if the cost is an issue: for info.)

Please share this email and post the event page on Facebook:

Thank you and hoping you will join in!

While I agree on keeping an open mind about matters such as crop circles, but I don’t think the matters of crop circles, UFOs, and aliens need to be co-opted by parapsychology circles. They are vastly different topics, with the only similarity being that they are both less than mainstream ideas. Besides, parapsychology is controversial enough, and attracting even more controversy won’t help us. What do you think?

      Hi M. R.,
In principle, I agree with you, but the practical side of this is that our paths do cross occasionally and a certain amount of mutual support helpful for all concerned.

        Thanks for the reply.

Where do you think these topics can cross paths? If we come to the conclusion that alien abduction experiences are a variant of distressing NDEs/spirit encounters (which I think is more likely than actual extraterrestrials) and crop circles are the results of collective PK (which I think is way out there) I think there is a valid link between psi and alien stuff, but I’d like to know what other ways you think the two fields can gain from each other by collaborating.

Oh. My reasons are much more mundane. I help out Suzanne by helping to publicize her events and she helps me by publicizing mine.

We are all part of the alternative subjects crowd and we do better if we work together.
