Rules for Skeptical Comments

I screen all comments before they are posted and skepticism is allowed. If you want to make sure that your skeptical comment is posted, please follow the guidelines below:

1. You should only comment on posts that address parapsychology or skeptics.

2. Your comments must be

    neutral

in tone. You must be polite. You are allowed to disagree, but not be insulting. Avoid words like “stupid” and “idiotic.”

3. You must make a case for your position. You are in the territory of people who disagree with skeptical positions on parapsychology so you will have to provide evidence for your position. Links are recommended. I do not care how well you make your case or how convincing it is. It is just a comment after all. If you make any case at all and you are polite about it, your comment(s) will be published.

Healthy skepticism is always a good thing. Unfortunately many in the ‘skeptic’ community become self-righteous, toxic, and abusive. I like that they’re called pseudo-skeptics or cynics because that’s what they are.

From the number of downvotes on posts which people should have enough sensitivity to leave alone, its clear that you had a plague of pseudoskeptics here in 2009-2010. Terry Bolen is right – it is the same mob who are anti complementary medicine and pro-compulsory vaccine.

    Craig:
This is NOT a comment. I want to exchange some information with you, and yours, about the skeptics. My name is Tim Bolen. I am a Crisis Management Consultant in the health care industry. http://www.bolenreport.com – where I have a little less than 200,000 subscribers.

I hunt predators. The skeptics are predators.

One of my recent articles explains what Mike Adams and I (plus a whole lot of others) are up to.

      Hi Tim,
I know who you are and I know what you do. I’ve known for years. I fully support your work.
I glanced at the link. I like the comparison between the white sheets and the anonymous Internet posters. It makes all too much sense. Horrible, awful sense.
I don’t need any convincing about the skeptics. I have a book out which goes into quite a bit a detail about them:
Psi Wars: TED, Wikipedia and the Battle for the Internet.
It’s ostensibly about mainstream science against the psi research, but I had to plow straight through the whole skeptic mess to do it.
I am mostly out of that fight in order to pursue other things, but if you need anything, let me know and I’ll try to help if I can. email:

I wonder if you have ever heard about abilify having a negative effect on psychic ability?

Hi Craig, maybe you should also ban the very cliched words that the vocabulary-limited science fundamentalist use ad nauseam, like charlatans, snake oil, pseudoscience, placebo, scientific, etc. Great blog BTW and are you still working on the altTED alternative? Would love to help if you are.

    idiosyncratic “side bar”?

Might anyone (in media res) care for the old (=o-l-d, by perhaps about a century)
“Institut fuer Grenzgebiete der Physik” = in loose translation, the Institute for
the border regions of physics, at the Max-Planck-Institute, a fairly respectable
    university.

Methinks that once upon a time a young American named Rhine, either PhD or
MD, was one of their students. I am aware that his daughter, long may a kind
person live, is a psychologist and one of the leaders of the Rhine Institute.
    She’s Dr. S. Feathers.

It may, i hope, be of comfort to a youngling to know that “you are not alone”,
whether the sceptic or the gift-afflicted (i’m neither).

Please accept my thanks for the publication of a blog i have enjoyed
    dabbling in –

Pax, pece, Vreede, Friede, in peace: etch

    Hola Craig,

I have been reading your blog for many years but in silence. Probably there are many people like me out there that never drop a comment but they are probably very thankful for the same reasons as is mentioned above. I started researching about Psychic since a Psychic told me that I should explore around this topic. Unfortunately I couldn’t found too much reliable and authentic info out there until your blog.
I just want to thank you. Google my name I think you will like what I do, good vibes and hugs

Craig, I found your blog somehow scouring the internet in search of all that you talk about on your abilities and such. What’s interesting is that I have spoken your language, and thought all your thoughts and I know for sure you have what you say you have in your healing gifts and your other gifts. It’s just really interesting. For me at my age to really sink into the idea that I might have a few gifts myself? And! The guts to dig in and finally believe it and take the appropriate action to use these gifts in a way that is positive, helpful to others by God’s will. Discernment is pretty much my gift and knowing some past or current things of others as well as the feeling so others. Anyways, I enjoy your blog!

It wasn’t until about a week ago whilst looking at a Discovery channel show on sextuplets and heard one of the parents describing the personality of one child as being sensitive because you only needed to tell him once for him to obey,it resonated with me so much that I promptly went and did some internet research. You see I have never felt accepted or loved unconditionally by my immediate family. I have only ever heard mostly negative comments about myself and needless to say was suffering from low self-worth. From the age of 14 and watching the “Cosby Show” I realised that my family behaviour was way off the mark. I was exposed to a lot of emotional abuse and sometimes violent behaviour coupled with a lot of anger not to mention the criticism.I realised that my family life was dysfunctional but that it didn’t have to be.Almost 20 years and many tear-filled suicidal thoughts later I have finally found such an important picture(I had the pieces but wasn’t able to completely relate everything) relating to who I am and what are my personality traits that like Michelle I don’t feel as alone and crazy anymore.I even feel empowered..it’s strange,I have always felt I was special/gifted despite being made to feel contrary to this. This feeling slowly ebbed away to the point of almost being extinguished but never went away totally.I wanted my own loving, supportive and respectful family so badly(because I knew the pain mine had caused me) that I was driven to expose the true me and work through my issues and today..I am so tearful..it has paid off. I feel this information will propel me only forward.Noteworthy I think is that I first found this info. as related to highly sensitive people and later psychic ability which fits in with the “sixth sense” my grandmother was said to have which I had eventually put down to experience related knowing.I don’t feel as confused and futile anymore as I have always been a curious person and knowing and understanding makes all the difference to me.

As a young highly sensitive person I have found these blogs to be extremely helpful. I don’t feel solo carzy anymore and when the thoughts that I am crazy start to form in my mind I simply come to this website and feel better. With the help of these blogs a I have embarked on the journey of accepting myself and my abilities,I also don’t feel so isolated in my struggles as a highly sensitive person but most of all thankyou for being a light in a path full of shadows and most importantly everytime I read one of these blogs I feel less and less crazy

Thanks Michelle, I know where you’re coming from. These feelings you’re describing are exactly why I started this blog. It’s good to know I’m being helpful, it means a lot to me.

As a young psychic myself I have found these blogs to be very helpful.I have begun to understand and accept that I have the ability that I do. Slowly I am starting to feel better about what I have.
